Is it Real Faith or Fake? Are we walking by Faith or are we just playing the part?

I heard God say to me just the other day, “Rick, you can have faith in ME because I am faithful." You can tell when someone is truly walking by faith or just playing the part simply by listening to the words that proceed from their mouths.  Those that are not walking by faith will say things like, "another day in hell", "my back is killing me", "I hate my job", "I think I am going to be sick today and I am so stressed out", "I wish I could just die"! Faith filled people speak different and that is because we don't speak using our five senses. And why might you ask? It is because faith eliminates and removes our natural five senses which are:

-  Touch - Smell - See - Taste - Hear-

Faith filled people say things like, "good morning God", "I give you my day and it’s going to be a good day!" "I declare that I am the healed!" "I am the blessed!" "I am the whole!" "I have the favour of God all over me!" "I am anointed to be a blessing to someone today!"  Now that you have read this ask yourself, are you walking by faith or just playing the part? Please don't get upset with me for I am hearing the spirit of the Lord tell me the same.  So I decided to do a complete faith check-up in my own personal walk.  While doing so, the Lord took me to Hebrews 11.  As I was reading through the chapter, I began to see great people of faith and it showed me exactly where I stood in my own personal walk of faith.   Let’s go over a few verses so you too can begin to do a quick check-up on your own personal walk.  Please don't stop reading. I can assure you it's going to be ok. Glory!

-  Hebrews 11:1 KJV-
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Let me ask you some questions, “Are you believing God for something at this very moment in your life? If so do you have hope inside of you?  Or has fear and anxiety taken over?  Do you find yourself asking God why is it taking so long for it to manifest?" If this is you then it means faith is not evident.  Evidence means that you have strong facts and strong proof that HE will do what he says HE will do.  Faith says, "relax, stand still and don't stress out because God doesn’t lie" : "I have what HE says and all is well!  Now let’s walk and rejoice by faith!"

-  Hebrews 11:6 KJV-
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

What I am about to say to you might come off strong but it's the truth.  God loves you but if your faith switch is not on, then God is not pleased with you.  The word pleased means to be satisfied.  It means God is not satisfied with your present condition if you are not walking by faith.  It is God's will for us to be blessed but without faith it keeps us out of the blessings.  If you look at the verse again it says God can only reward those who are in faith.  Faith is the key to receive from God.

-  Hebrews 11:7 KJV-
“By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.”

Are you a person who always says ,"show me the proof in the pudding and then I will believe"?  Are you one of those who need lighting to strike in order to believe? Or are you like Noah who only had a word from God?  God said to Noah that it was going to rain and for Noah to build an ark.  Noah never saw rain; Noah had never built an ark but Noah heard a word from God.  When Noah heard God he had faith and obeyed.  So many Christians today are in a place called the “we don't know zone”.  If you take a moment to stop and listen, you can hear it when they speak “I don't know what to say, I don't know what to give, I don’t know what to read, I don’t know which voice to listen to and I don't know if that was God who really said it”.  Noah just believed God and he saved his whole family.  Folks, it is not a safe place to live without faith so we must truly believe in God's Word.  Please take a moment to go over Hebrews 11 and begin to routinely take the whole faith test until faith becomes a giant inside of you…Glory!   It takes faith to walk with God but let me assure you that it is the best walk you can ever walk.  I always say this, “just agree with God and God will make things agree with you”.  Please let us know if our newsletters are being a blessing to you.  We love you, our partners.
