Partners, I would like to share something with you that has changed my life forever. The Christian walk, that we walk, is not based on our performance, achievements or on how good we have been lately. No, it is all based on faith in Jesus' performance, achievements, what He did on the cross and what He did after the cross. The word of God says "all that will come to him and will confess him as Lord, he would declare them righteous and redeemed."
Roman 10:9-10 KJV "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Let's look at this scripture together.
Psalm 118:1-4 KJV "O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever".
Without his mercy, we would all be guilty and we would all be exempt from a good future. God can't work the good for us if we don't let his mercy speak for us.
We must all live a life that is tapped into God's mercy.
2. Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
3. Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
I have a question for you. What has your house been saying? We must be very watchful that we don't try to make it in life on our own strength. Yes, we need to do our part, like speak the Word, study the Word, sow seeds, tithe and walk in love. We must be watchful that we don't say, "God you must bless me because I am doing all the right things."
What is mercy? Mercy means or mercy says that we are no longer guilty. Mercy says that we can come into the room of favor or into the place of favor.
What has your house been saying?
4. Let them now that fear the Lord say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
The word Fear in verse 4 means to choose or to follow after. We must choose the mercy of God and we must choose to say, "Lord you must bless me because your mercy says so and your mercy Lord allows me to be worthy." Now that is the way to live! Let your house say that the mercy of the Lord is speaking in my house! Glory!
